Effective Microorganisms®, also known as EM•1®, has been in use world wide for almost 30 years. EM•1® is the original, authentic, Effective Microorganisms® solution that was formulated by Dr Higa, in Japan.
EM•1® microbial products are available in a variety of sizes from 12oz bottles to 275-gallon mini-bulk totes. There are three main packaging choices: EM•1® Microbial Inoculant (for plants, soils, gardening, and agricultural crops), EM•1® Septic Treatment (for on-site septic and portable toilets), and EM•1® Waste Treatment (for large scale composting, odor control, bioremediation, solid waste and wastewater applications).

It can be used directly out of the bottle or Activated to increase the volume of product.
For certified organic operations and those who want to know the organic status of EM•1® microbial products, OMRI Listed certificates for EM•1® Microbial Inoculant and EM•1® Waste Treatment are available online for download for your organic inspections.
