The naturally-occurring metabolites (metabolic by-products of cellular respiration) of fermentation help support healthy digestive function. These metabolites include various organic acids which have been studied for their effectiveness at controlling pathogenic species such as E. coli and Salmonella and aid in the secretion of digestive juices that assist in regular elimination of wastes from the body.
Several customers have reported weight loss when using Pro EM·1®. This is due to increased digestion and nutrient usage in foods and a healthy diet and exercise program.
Molasses contains several dozen trace minerals including iron, magnesium, and manganese that are bio-available for maximum absorption.
Diabetics and those looking for low glycemic foods need not be concerned with the fact both honey and molasses are in the Pro EM·1® . During the fermentation process all the sugars are digested by the microorganisms and used to produce metabolites including vitamins, organic acids, amino acids, enzymes, and other beneficial substances. An indication of this is zero carbohydrates left in the finished product.
Pro EM·1® is a naturally fermented liquid product that is not pasteurized. Some gas may build up in the bottle during shipping. Please open slowly and release pressure by unscrewing the cap slowly (as you would when opening a carbonated beverage).
Some white flakes may appear on the surface after opening. This is the live yeast in the product. If you do not want to see this, you can refrigerate the unused portion of Pro EM·1®.
