compost is so important for gardening success. If you want to make your life easier and avoid all the hassle of turning large piles of compost, take a look at our
food waste recycling systems using Organic Rice Bran Bokashi. Since microbes convert organic matter to a usable food source for plants they are not plant- or soil- specific. This means all plants and all soils benefit from the addition of good microbes like the ones in EM•1. EM•1 will help you grow more nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables that will not only taste better, they will also last longer. For your soils, the beneficial microbes in EM•1 produce lots of polysaccharides, glues that hold the soil together and hold in moisture, improving drought resistance.

Applying EM·1® is very simple. Just use a hose-end sprayer, watering can, or pump sprayer, as you would with any liquid fertilizer, and spray all your plants once a week. For the average 10x10 garden you will need one ounce per week. For the average garden, 1 quart will last 32 weeks. Some hose-end sprayers let you dial in the dilution rates. We suggest one ounce per gallon (2 TBS) for all plants. The best time to spray is early evening.
