Changing The Way Food is Grown In America
Ag1000® can be used on all grain crops such as; wheat, barley, corn, milo, oats, rice, rye and sorghum among others. Ag1000® is a ready-to-use soil conditioner, comprised of Effective Microorganisms. Ag1000® increases nutrient cycling in your soil and helps improve drainage, aeration, moisture retention and soil structure. Overall this decreases fertilizer requirements while improving yield.
Because Ag1000® contains live microbials it also improves water permeability. The bugs go to work in the soil, increasing beneficial microorganisms and other organisms, this creates more pores for water and air. The increased permeability can decrease your water usage.
Ag1000® was applied to corn fields in Garden City, MO and compared to an untreated control. Fields were on a grower standard for nutrients and other inputs and managed the same aside from the Ag1000® treatment.
Two application rates were tested. Treatment 1 received 15 gallons of Ag1000® per acre total over the season spread over 3 applications and Treatment 2 received 10 gallons per acre spread over 2 applications.
5 Gallons/acre In Furrow, 5 Gallons/acre @ Emergence (T1 only),
5 Gallons/acre Post Harvest

Ag1000® was applied to wheat fields at 30 gallons of Ag1000®/acre total, spread over 3 applications. One field received 100% of the recommended Nitrogen (200lb/acre), while the other received only 75% of the recommended rate of Nitrogen. Two untreated fields were also planted with the same 100% and 75% Nitrogen rates and a Control field with zero Nitrogen.
Note the significant different between the Ag1000® treated fields with 25% less nitrogen vs. the untreated.

The trial consisted of six treatments and two nitrogen fertilizer rates (100% and 75%) and/or with fungicide or without. Barriers were installed to prevent sub-surface and paddy water movement between plots. Flood irrigation was used.
Treated fields received 30 gallons per acre of Ag1000® spread out over the growing season.

Both the reduced Nitrogen and the reduced Fungicide did significantly better then the untreated control. Applying Ag1000® to the rice resulted in a 4.5% increase in pounds per acre with 25% less Nitrogen used.

On the fungicide trial, Ag1000® increased the yields by almost 9% without the use of fungicide. There was no significant difference between the two treated fields, indication the use of fungicide was not needed.
For all grains, we recommend 15 gallons of Ag1000® per acre per year spread over 3 applications.

Conventional farmers can use Ag1000® with most of their programs. Do not mix synthetic chemicals with the microbes in concentrated, non-diluted, form. Many pesticides, such as Round-Up are antibiotic in nature and kill all the microbes within seconds of mixing. Therefore, if pesticides are to be used, please wait at least 48 hours between applications of pesticide and Ag1000®.
