In studies with TeraGanix and the University of Kentucky, Ag1000® increased yield and plant health. Ag1000® is a ready-to-use soil conditioner, comprised of Effective Microorganisms. Ag1000® increases nutrient cycling in your soil and helps improve drainage, aeration, moisture retention and soil structure. Overall this decreases fertilizer requirements while improving yield.
Because Ag1000® contains live microbials it also improves water permeability. The bugs go to work in the soil, increasing beneficial microorganisms and other organisms, this creates more pores for water and air. The increased permeability can decrease your water usage.

Dark Fired Tobacco
Dark Fired Tobacco yield was significantly increased in Murray, Kentucky with the University of Kentucky.
Ag1000 was applied at a rate of 34 Gallons per acre over the growing season. 10 gallons/acre at planting and 8 foliar applications of 3 Gallons per acre. In addition to an increase of 12% compared to the control, the quality grade of tobacco was also increased 7%.

Foliar applications should be applied in the morning or evening. Conventional farmers can use Ag1000® with most of their programs. Do not mix synthetic chemicals with the microbes in concentrated, non-diluted, form. Many pesticides, such as Round-Up are antibiotic in nature and kill all the microbes within seconds of mixing. Therefore, if pesticides are to be used, please wait at least 48 hours between applications of pesticide and Ag1000®.
