GREEN CLEANING ON JAPAN'S BULLET TRAIN
The Shinkansen (bullet train) in Japan has been using EM Technology® to clean the inside and outside of the trains since 2006. An employee of Morioka began using EM-1® herself and convinced her company to try it out. The Morioka office started using EM-1® to get rid of bad odors at their garbage separation station.
After more research, the employee suggested they being cleaning with EM-1® to reduce chemical usage. After doing a comparative study, the company found EM-1® made it easier and cheaper to clean.

APPLICATION METHODS
RESTAURANTS

THE GREASE TRAP:
Regular applications of EM-1® Waste Treatment when cleaning grease traps can control odors and keep the trap from backing up. Unlike soaps and enzyme products, EM-1® Waste Treatment will not emulsify the grease but instead digest it.
KITCHEN CLEANUP:
APC500™ probiotic all-purpose cleaner can be used in most areas of the kitchen from the hood, prep areas, floors, and carpets.
- For surface cleaning, simply dilute APC500™ at the recommended dilution rate in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe any and all areas with a microfiber cloth.
- Hard to reach areas such as behind and under appliances, uses a pump sprayer and mist the areas during daily cleanup.
- For hard flooring add APC500™ to the mop bucket at recommended rate and clean as usual.
- For carpets, add APC500™ to any carpet cleaner or simply spritz carpet daily to deodorize.
- For bathrooms, use in place of chemical cleaner for surfaces, toilets, urinals and flooring.
