Application Method:

• Apply in the early morning or late evening to minimize evaporation.
• Water the lawn lightly after application to help the EM•1® penetrate the soil.

Recommended Application:

• A general dilution range is 1:100 to 1:500 (1 part EM•1® to 100-500 parts water) for soil applications.
• Apply diluted EM•1® directly to the soil surface using a watering can or sprayer.
• Mix diluted EM•1® into the soil during tilling or planting.
• Spray diluted EM•1® onto compost piles to accelerate decomposition and enhance nutrient content.

All instructions, directions and recommendations of EM•1® microbial solution are standardized on the process of activating EM•1® concentrate at:

• 5% Concentrated EM-1® Solution
• 5% Unsulfured Blackstrap Molasses
• 90% Unchlorinated Water

Activated EM•1® is ready to use from the 7th day, when the pH of the solution is between 3.2-3.8, or when it has a pleasant bittersweet smell and the color changes from dark brown to orange-brown.

To use, dilute at the rate of 1:100 or 1 oz per 1 gallon of water. Do not apply AEM® undiluted.
