Effective Microorganisms® and Ag1000® can help decrease the cost on equipment maintenance and replacement by preventing and reversing corrosion or salt buildup. Antioxidants are chelated minerals and vitamins that can reverse oxidation. Metabolites in EM•1® can reverse putrefaction and oxidation through the secreted antioxidants.
This helps balance pH, control odors inside piping and reverse corrosion and salt build up on equipment. When Ag1000® is consistently used in the irrigation system for crops or used to clean equipment, corrosion can be prevented from the beginning.
In wastewater and irrigation lines, antioxidants have a scavenging effect in the treatment system, pulling compounds out of suspension by combining with salts, thus causing a crystallization formation into a benign salt. By preventing various salts and mineral formation build up, the pipes will be polished without the need for mechanical cleaning. This all equals saving the municipality and the taxpayers money.

APPLICATION METHODS
TREATING ALREADY CORROSIVE EQUIPMENT
Depending on the condition, an application rate of 1:10 to 1:100 of Ag1000® or Wt1000® is recommended. Smaller items, like pipe parts can be soaked in a solution until the corrosion is reduced.
MAINTENANCE TREATMENT
Spray equipment with a solution of 1:10 to 1:100 of Ag1000® or Wt1000®. If used daily or weekly to irrigate crops, Ag1000® should keep pipes clean. Can be used in a fogging unit and injection pump with timer.
