EM•1® Case Study: Wheat

Researchers at The University of Kentucky tested Activated EM•1®'s ability to increase nutrient availability. EM•1® was applied to wheat fields at 30 gallons of Activated EM•1®/acre total, spread over 3 applications.

One field received 100% of the recommended Nitrogen (200lb/acre), while the other received only 75% of the recommended rate of Nitrogen. Two untreated fields were also planted with the same 100% and 75% Nitrogen rates and a Control field with zero Nitrogen. Note the significant difference between the Activated EM•1® treated fields with 25% less nitrogen vs. the untreated.

For all grains, we recommend 15 gallons of Ag1000® per acre per year spread over 3 applications.

5 Gallons/Acre Post Harvest Conventional farmers can use Ag1000® with most of their programs.

Do not mix synthetic chemicals with the microbes in concentrated, non-diluted, form. Many pesticides, such as Round-Up are antibiotic in nature and kill all the microbes within seconds of mixing. Therefore, if pesticides are to be used, please wait at least 48 hours between applications of pesticide and Ag1000®.
